Discussing theater from 1930 to 1970. We are also taking turns to direct small texts/extracts, I'm not sure if we're all HL or not. Heh. As for Midsummer night's dream, my Theater Arts teacher, who happens to be a playwright, adapted it to be Mexican style (don't ask why. She's a Welsh woman gone nuts =P ), but it's a play open to the entire school. I auditioned and I'm gonna play Theseus's bitch/servant (I forgot the name, she made it female), because I asked not to be Hermia's father, Egeus (which was adaped to a female character from the original father... I told you I have a nutty teacher). Hahah. We just got told today and I'm looking forward to it. Good to hear from you. I'm glad the Theater Arts class is doing well. Do you think you could also send me the videos of what we did last semster somehow? Thanks a lot. Paulina. |
